Bendakaya Pacchadhi ( okra chutney)
Jul 3rd, 2009 | By sagari | Category: ChutneysINGREDIENTS : 1 pound fresh okra (bendakayalu) sliced ,1 tomato (chopped) ,1/2 onion (chopped) , 6 to 7 green chillis (slit) , 3 to 4 stalks of cilantro , 2 inch piece tamarind , 1/2 tsp jaggary , salt , 4 cloves of garlic (chopped), 2 to 3 tbs oil
METHOD
.Heat oil in a tawa , add sliced okra ,fry them on medium high flame for 5 to 10 min
.Now add all the rest of ingredients ( except jaggary) and fry them along with okra pieces for 1o more min
.Cool everything , add jaggary and pulse them in a blender for 2 times
.Done
IF U WANT TO CAN ADD TADKA WITH A TABLESPOON OF OIL ,CUMIN SEEDS AND MUSTURD SEEDS
